Speaker: Akis Daoutis, composer, teacher at the School of Film Studies at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki

In an art such as the cinema, where the silence is a very powerful production tool of dramatic effects, the lecture-conversation will try to present all the production stages of sound and the composition of film music, from the script up to the movie theatres. In addition, it is going to be made known the relationship between the electroacoustic music and the movies and it will be a presentation of the new composition tools that are used in sound design.
   

The lecture will take place at the Centre for Music Composition & Performance, 156 Ippokratous str, 11472 Athens.
