Trevor Wishart has been a leading figure in the composition of electroacoustic and computer music for many years, as well as being deeply involved in experimental music and music education. The composer of groundbreaking pieces such as 'Red Bird' and the 'Vox' cycle - universally regarded as classics in the genre - he is also the creator of unique and sophisticated computer software for musical composition, as well as the author of two widely influential books about electroacoustic composition  ('On Sonic Art' and 'Audible Design'). Wishart has a highly engaging and individual musical personality that is constantly fizzing with new and interesting ideas about music.
